Andaman Island Odyssey

Andamans is an archipelago of islands in the Bay of Bengal. It is a perfect holiday spot with tropical forests, velvet blue sea and golden beaches. Andaman & Nicobar group of 293 islands stretches over 700kms. The tropical forest here has abundant bird life and the sea has multi-coloured under water world. The sea - a sheet of clear glass through which one can see the coral beds. The natives here are the aborigines who have Negroid feature & who live in the Jungle. Entry to some of the islands is restricted to support the tribal and their primitive way of living. Islands where tourists are allowed offer unlimited range of fun.

Day 1: Arrive at Port Blair from Calcutta or Chennai by air. Transfer to hotel. Half-Day sight seeing of archeological museum, which displays aboriginal life, marine museum where 350, life species have been preserved. Harbour cruises of Ross & Viper Islands. Evening son – et- Lumiere at the cellular jail.

Day 2: Depart in morning to Mt. Harriet, 1200mts. High, for kaleidoscopic view of Port Blair. Then a 2hr drive to Middle Strait passing through tropical forest & tribal area stopping to view lumbering by elephants. Evening at leisure on the beach. Over night at Port Blair.

Day 4: Morning motorboat cruises to Neil & Havelock Islands. The whole day will be at your disposal to enjoy the beach, explore the tropical forest or the underwater coral life. Boat cruise to underwater coral gardens and unspoilt beaches of north Cinque Island. It is an ideal spot to swim, snorkel or for scuba diving. The hillock provides beautiful view of the island, submerged corals & the sunset. At night you have an option for camping or tourist bungalow at Neil.

Day 5: Mornings are free to explore the beaches & the creeks. Later arrive at Port Blair to check into Hotel. Overnight stay at Port Blair.

2. Scuba diving & snorkeling specialized trips.

Shorter itinery possible at Port Blair & taking day trips to other islands.
