Day 1 Bangalore
Drive to airport and board your flight to Bangalore in the morning. Receive
assistance on arrival and check in to hotel. In the afternoon take a city tour
of Bangalore that includes trips to the Vidhan Soudha, Cubbon Park and Lalbagh.
Later, enjoy the city’s nightlife and then return to hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 2 Bangalore -- Hassan
Today morning drive to Hassan and transfer to your hotel. Later enjoy a tour
to Belur and Halebid and return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 Mysore
In the morning proceed for Mysore, where you will visit the great Mysore Palace-the
official residence of the Wodeyar Mahararaja's. You will also drive up to Chamundi
Hill to visit the temple and the statue of Nandi-the Bull. Later hope around
the colorful Devaraja fruit and vegetable market.
Day 4 Mysore
Today morning you will visit Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace at Srirangapattanam
and the Ranganathittoo Bird Sanctuary. Later drive to Somnathpur to see the
beautifully carved Hoysala temple.
Day
5 Mysore -- Coorg
Drive to Coorg in the morning and visit the Tibetan settlement at Bylguppe en-route.
While on arrival transfer to your hotel for 2 nights stay. Spend rest of the
day at leisure and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 Coorg
This morning you will be enjoying a walk through the plantations and later have
a picnic lunch beside the Cauvery River. Option for a spot of angling is also
available for the enthusiasts.
Day 7 Coorg -- Calicut
Today morning take an interesting drive across the Western Ghats to Calicut,
visiting a local “hookah” making unit en-route. On arrival check
in at hotel Taj Residency for overnight stay.
Day 8 Calicut -- Cochin
In the morning drive to port city Cochin, where you will visit Beypore and witness
its hand-made sea-faring vessels. You will also visit Guruvayoor to see the
elephant stables. Later enjoy a relaxing cruise on the tranquil backwaters at
sunset and also visit the Chinese fishing net. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9 Cochin
In the morning proceed for a sightseeing tour that includes the Dutch Palace,
a walk through the spice trading centres at Mattancherry , Jewish Synagogue,
and St Francis' Church. At sunset witness Kathakali, the ancient dance-drama
of Kerala. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 Cochin -- Kumarakom
This morning take a short drive to Puthenangadi from where you will proceed
to Kumarakom by boat and check in to hotel for overnight stay. Spend the afternoon
at leisure or take an Ayurvedic massage or explore the nearby bird sanctuary.
Day 11 Kumarom -- Riceboat
This morning board a riceboat for the night and spent the day cruising along
the backwaters and observing village life along the banks. Accommodation on
the boat is simple but comfortable, with modern en suite facilities.
Day 12 Housboat -- Trivandrum
In the morning disembark at Thotapally and arrive Trivandrum city. Enjoy a city
sightseeing tour in the afternoon. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13 Trivandrum
Transfer to Trivandrum Airport to board your onward flights.
