South India Special TourPlaces visited: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore
Duration: 7 Nights / 8 days

Day 01: DEPARTURE FLIGHT
Excel Airways from Gatwick (South Terminal)
overnight flight to Delhi.

Day 02: DELHI
On arrival you will be welcomed by your driver and guide and transferred to the Imperial Hotel. This afternoon there will be a tour of New Delhi. Designed and built by the British in the 1920's, it is a city of wide boulevards, impressive government buildings, green parks and gardens. You will visit two monuments from Delhi's past – Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar – then return to your hotel via the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House.
Day 03: AGRA
This morning drive to Agra (200 km/41/2 hours) and check in to The Oberoi Amarvilás. Later, visit Agra Fort before continuing to the magnificent Taj Mahal, an eternal monument to the enduring love of the Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz.
Day 04: JAIPUR
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur (235 km/5 hours), visiting the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri en route. On arrival in Jaipur, check in to The Oberoi Rajvilás.
Day 05: JAIPUR
After breakfast, proceed to the impressive Amber Fort, spectacularly located on the crest of a rocky hill. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Jaipur including the City Palace Museum, resplendent with its collection of royal robes, carpets and armoury. Also visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, built in 1726. Finally, there will be a photo stop at the lovely Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) – a five-storey pyramidal façade of overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires.
Day 06: RANTHAMBORE
Drive to Ranthambore (165 km/4 hours) and check in to The Oberoi Vanyavilás. Afternoon game drive* in Ranthambore National Park. The Park encompasses an area of more than 400 square km and is dotted with a number of water holes and lakes fed by several rivers. The Park takes its name from the 10th century fortress, which looms above the forest, making Ranthambore a very unusual area where a natural present meets an historic past.
