IN SEARCH OF THE TIGER
Watch-out for the tiger that can be easily spotted amidst a quaint natural surrounding suitably padded up with verdant forests and majestic fort called Ranthambore National Park. In your bold and exciting trip to this tiger land you come across some great historical cities with landmark monuments. Take a look at the rare architectural splendor of Delhi. Move a little further and the world famous Taj Mahal of Agra will seized all your attentions. The phantom city of Fatehpur Sikri is another architectural delight and the irresistible pink city-Jaipur is if anything, it is icing on the cake.

Day 01: DEPARTURE FLIGHT
Depart on Excel Airways from Gatwick (South Terminal) overnight to Goa.
Day 02: DELHI
On arrival at Goa’s Dabolim Airport connect with a flight to Delhi. Afternoon
tour of New Delhi including Humayan’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Overnight
Surya Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Day 03: AGRA
After an early breakfast, drive to Agra (200 km/ 41/2 hours). In the afternoon
visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, followed by a visit to Agra Fort. Overnight
Clarks Shiraz Hotel.
Day 04: JAIPUR
Drive to Jaipur (235 km/5 hours) visiting the intriguing deserted red sandstone
city of Fatehpur Sikri en route. On arrival, check in at Clarks Amer Hotel.
Day 05: RANTHAMBORE
After breakfast check out of your hotel and head for Ranthambore (165 km/4 hours).
Along theway, make a stop to visit the impressive Amber Fort. You will take
a short elephant ride up to the Fort, followed by a guided tour. On arrival,
check in at the Tiger Moon Resort.
Day 06: RANTHAMBORE
A busy day of wildlife spotting with morning and afternoon game drives in Ranthambore
National Park, accompanied by a naturalist (jungle safaris are usually undertaken
in a ‘canter’ – an open-air vehicle seating up to 22 passengers
on benches). Ranthambore encompasses an area of more than 400 square km and
is dominated by the 10th century fortress, which looms above the forest.
Day 07: JAIPUR
After breakfast a further game drive in search of the rare and elusive tiger.
Other resident game includes chital, sambars and the rather ungainly nilgai,
jackals, panthers, marsh crocodiles and hundreds of water birds. Later, return
to the fabulous ‘Pink City of Jaipur’ (165 km/4 hours) where you
will take an afternoon city tour including the City Palace Museum and Jantar
Mantar Observatory and a brief ‘photo-stop’ outside Hawa Mahal,
the ‘Palace of Winds’. Overnight Clarks Amer Hotel.
Day 08: DELHI
Return to Delhi by road (280 km/6 hours). In the afternoon there will be a tour
of Old Delhi. Overnight Surya Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Day 09: GOA
In the morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Goa. On arrival, transfer
to the hotel of your choice for the next 7 nights.
Day 16: RETURN
Transfer to Goa Airport for the Excel Airways daylight flight to Gatwick.
