DESERT KINGDOMS

Day 01: MANDAWA
After breakfast drive from Jaipur to Mandawa
(165 km/4 hours) and check in to Mandawa Castle. This market town is famous
for its havelis (traditional merchants’ mansions) decorated with colourful
frescoes. The village is dominated by the grand 18th century castle which will
be your accommodation for the night.
Day 02: BIKANER
Drive to Bikaner (200 km/5 hours) and check in to Lallgarh Palace Hotel. Once
a busy trade centre, Bikaner was frequented by the legendary caravans that strung
out across the desert to West Asia and Africa. In the afternoon tour the fortified
city.
Day 03: KHIMSAR
Drive to Khimsar (145 km/31/2 hours) and check in to Khimsar Fort Hotel. Afternoon
at leisure in this heritage hotel.
Day 04: ROHETGARH
Drive to Rohetgarh (130 km/31/2 hours) and check in to Rohetgarh Fort Hotel.
Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the unique atmosphere of this heritage hotel.
Day 05: UDAIPUR
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur (278 km/6-7 hours). En route visit the famed
Ranakpur Jain Temple complex, one of the biggest and most important pilgrimage
sites for the Jain community in India. On arrival, check in to Grand Laxmi Vilas.
Day 06: UDAIPUR
The morning tour of Udaipur includes the City Palace, the largest palace complex
in Rajasthan, the Jagdish temple and the Sahelion Ki Bari garden. In the afternoon,
enjoy a boat ride on the serene and beautiful Lake Pichola.
Day 07: DELHI
After breakfast, transfer to Udaipur airport and fly to
Delhi. Transfer to Surya Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Day 08: DELHI
Morning sightseeing tour of New Delhi.
Day 09: RETURN
Transfer to Delhi Airport for the Excel Airways daylight flight to Gatwick.
