Day 1 Delhi/ Calcutta
Transfer to airport and board your flight for Kolkatta (formerly Calcutta)—the second largest establishment of the British Raj in India.

Receive assistance on arrival and check in to your hotel.

Rest of the day free to explore the city on your own and overnight at hotel.

Day 2 Calcutta/ Darjeeling
Start your day with an early morning trip to the flower market on the riverbanks in Howrah, which will be followed by a boat-ride on the River Hooghly.

In the afternoon enjoy city sightseeing tour, visiting the imposing Victoria Memorial, St Paul's Cathedral and the Indian Museum that houses one of the best collections of Indian art.

Later in the evening you will drive to the bustling Sealdah Station to board the Darjeeling Mail.

Overnight in the train.

Day 3 Darjeeling
Arrive New Jalpaiguri Station in the morning, wherefrom you will drive to Darjeeling for a stay of 3 nights. Darjeeling is a favorite hill-station during the British period, surrounded by tea gardens and offers breathtaking views of the snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain peak in the world.

Day 4 Darjeeling
Leave for an early morning drive up to Tiger Hill (9000 ft) to see the spectacular sunrise over Mt Everest and Kanchenjunga. Stop by the Ghoom Monastery on your way back.

Later in the afternoon visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and a local tea garden.

Day 5 Darjeeling
Spend the entire day at leisure with the option of a ride on the "toy" train to Ghoom or Kurseong.

Day 6 Pelling
Today you will proceed on a scenic drive to the remote hamlet of Pelling, for a night stay at Norbugang Resort.

In the afternoon visit the Pemayangtse Monastery.

Day 7 Gangtok
In the morning drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim and check into the Tashi Delek or hotel Norkhill - for 2 nights of stay.

Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 8 Gangtok
Today proceed on a sightseeing trip of Gangtok, visiting the royal monastery, Tsukla-Khang, whose interior is covered with murals and lavishly decorated altars holding images of the Buddha, Bodhisattvas and Tantric deities. You will also visit the Namgyalak Institute of Tibetology, the Orchid Sanctuary where many of the 454 species of orchid found in Sikkim can be seen, and the Rumtek Monastery, noted for its carved and painted woodwork.

Day 9 Kalimpong
This morning again proceed on a pleasant drive to Kalimpong, where you will halt the night at delightful Himalayan Hotel.

Spend the day visiting the orchid nurseries, churches and monasteries.

Day 10 Kalimpong Bagdogra Delhi
Today you will be transferred to Bagdogra airport for your flight back to Delhi.
