Day 1: Arrive-Delhi
(Intl. Flight):
Arrive Delhi. Met upon arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Delhi was once the capital of empires and kingdoms.Today it
is capital city of India. It is divided in two parts as old
and new Delhi and spread in an area of 1500 sq kms. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
- Corbett Park (Drive):
Early morning after breakfast drive to reach Corbett National
Park by covering appox 260 kms in 06 hrs. The park established
in 1935 along the river Ramganga is dedicated to British Hunter
Jim Corbett. It has dense Sal forest and sub Himalayan Ranges
at its background. Arrive and check into Tourist Bungalow.
Afternoon Jungle Safari.
Day 3: Corbett
Park - Rishikesh(Jungle Safari & Drive):
Early morning visit the park on Elephant back for game viewing.
This park is Known mainly for Tigers, but Panther, Wild Boar,
Sotted Deer, Sambar, Fox etc. are also found with 585 species
of birds. Return to the Bungalow for breakfast and rest. In
the afternoon visit Crocodile breeding farm called Crocodile
High Bank. Afternoon drive to reach Rishikesh, on arrival
checkin at the Hotel.
Day 4: Rishikesh
- Joshimath - Auli (Drive):
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Joshimath (1875 M)
by covering appox 290 kms in 7/8 hrs via Devprayag. Devprayag
is the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alakananda rivers. Proceed
after lunch to reach Joshimath. Joshimath is the winter abode
of Lord Badrinath. Proceed further 16 km to reach Auli (2519
- 3049 mts). Arrive at the Auli and check-into tourist bungalows
for overnight stay.
Day 5: Auli
(Ski):
Morning after early breakfast get set for the Ski. Auli is
known for its Ski Institute and theInternational Ski competitions
in winter months. Auli has all, cross-country, slalom and
downhill slopes. Auli also offers a 180 deg. panoramic view
of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi (7817 mt.), Kamet (7756
mt), Mana Parwat (7273 mt), seemingly only a snowballs throwaway.
Overnight in the hotel.
Day 6: Auli
- Kaudilaya (Drive):
Very early morning after breakfast drive to reach Kaudilaya
by covering appox 281 kms. Lunch enroute. Continue after lunch
and reach Kaudilaya. On arrival checkin at the River Camp.
Day
8: Kaudilaya-Haridwar-Delhi (Rafting, Drive & Train):
Morning after breakfast proceed for white water Rafting down
Ganges for 2-3 hours negotiating some exciting rapids. Lunch
at Camp. Afternoon at leisure. In time transfer to Haridwar
29 kms to board train to Delhi. On arrival transfer to Hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 8: Delhi
Departure (International Flight):
Delhi (Intl. Flight): Day at leisure. Departure transfer to
International airport.
